Vinyl siding, Hardie® Siding, Weatherboard ® siding, Cedar Siding, Wood Siding, Masonite® siding repairs and painting~ we do it all. Vinyl Siding does not require the removal of the existing siding and offers years of low maintenance requiring only periodic washing. This would be the least expensive choice for installing siding at the entire home.
Repairing and painting your existing siding is also economical up front, but you just know that sooner or later, normally 3-5 years, the painting must be redone. Most existing sidings such as wood and Masonite® may also require future siding replacement as well.
Hardie® and Weatherboard® siding by Certainteed are both Fiber Cement Boards promising less future repairs of siding. Factory finishes can be pre-painted with the factory warranty of about 15 years on the finish also. Even the pre-finished fiber cement boards normally require some painting at completion to aid in hiding nails, caulking, etc.
